On October 18th, I went on a hike to Dyleň with my Rotary Club. It was such a special experience where we got to spend time together, connect with nature, and enjoy a day full of laughter and friendship. Even though it was quite cold that morning, everyone arrived in a great mood, ready for the adventure ahead.
We were a diverse group of exchange students representing five countries — Mexico, Argentina, Australia, Taiwan, and the United States. It was amazing to see how Rotary brings together people from all around the world. Despite our different backgrounds, we all shared the same excitement and positive energy throughout the day.

The hike itself lasted about an hour. The trail was surrounded by colorful autumn trees, and the view from the top was breathtaking. During the walk, all of us exchange students couldn’t stop laughing — we joked, talked about our countries, and helped each other along the way. The atmosphere was full of joy and connection. Once we reached the summit, we proudly took photos with our national flags, capturing a moment that perfectly represented unity and friendship.
Afterwards, we enjoyed a delicious meal together. We shared snacks, played games, and continued laughing as we talked about our exchange experiences. There was so much warmth and happiness, even though the weather was freezing. In total, we spent around four hours together, surrounded by nature and good company.
Even though our hands were cold, our hearts were warm. The hike to Dyleň was more than just a walk — it was a wonderful reminder of how Rotary connects people from all over the world through kindness, laughter, and friendship. I’m truly grateful for this unforgettable day with my Rotary Club.
