I had a wonderful weekend celebrating Christmas with other Rotary exchange students in Prague. To be honest I was having too good a time to take many pictures. But I did photograph my first European train ride (WHY don’t we have trains in the midwest?!) and the great hour we all spent at the Lennon Wall. We also saw the Christmas market in Staroměstká naměsti, and lit candles in walnut shells to predict our fortunes for the new year. (If the candle makes it across the bowl=good luck. If it sinks=bad luck. If it floats away from the others=you, too, shall drift away.)
I’m really looking forward to celebrating štedrý večer with my host family in just a few short days!
