Eurotour

Eurotour is a unique and voluntary trip for all Inbounds in our District. During the Eurotour you have a chance to visit three countries – France, Spain and Italy in two weeks, traveling by bus. Inbounds are accompanied by Rotarians and Rotex members. This trip is a highlight of their Exchange for most of the Inbounds, it is a really great and unforgettable experience.

The first stop of the trip is Paris where you will be able to visit, for example Concorde Square, Notre Dam Cathedral, walk on the Champs Elysees, Large and Small Palace, Alexandre III bridge, Military Museum and the tomb of Napoleon. We won’t miss Louvre for sure. The next day you will visit Chateau Versailles and it’s gardens, in the afternoon there is Paris sightseeing –  Montmartre, Pigalle, Sacre Coure Basilique. The third day in Paris is dedicated to the visit of the Eiffel Tower and the transfer to Barcelona in Spain.

The next day you will visit the historical center of Barcelona. Later on you will visit a very famous Sagrada Familia Cathedral and other monuments by Gaudí. The following day in Barcelona is dedicated to an optional program which you will choose on your own. In the evening you will be leaving to Italy, Rome, by a ferry boat. You will spend almost all day on the boat.

After the arrival to Rome you will visit the main historical monuments such as Antique Rome, Colloseum,  Forum Romanum, Palatinum, Panteon, Trevi Fountain with a local guide. Later on in the afternoon you will have some free time in Rome. The next day you will go to Vatican City including Vatican museums and St. Peter Cathedral.

In the afternoon you will depart to Pompei, where you will visit the historical site Pompei and Vesuvius volcano the following day. The last four days of the tour are dedicated to the beautiful city of art and culture called Florence, to Venice which is  worldwide known for its canals and romantic atmosphere and also to the departure back home to Czechia and Slovakia.

This exceptional tour is a great way to spend time with the other exchange students and to travel around Europe. Don’t forget your cameras, warm and summer clothes and also great mood because the atmosphere of Eurotour is different from our weekend meetings. For sure you will enjoy it a lot!
